Last week we had the chance to meet the creator of Hecho en Venice, Oscar Galan. Born in El Salvador, and raised in Venice, Oscar has spent over 30 years immersed in this beach community. Oscar began his career working at a local surf shop, which at the time was called Bronze Age. After the store's closing, he began Venice Breakwater, being inspired by the surf culture in Venice. The most popular design is the Hecho en Venice logo, though he continues to create new designs to add to his collection. In addition to the super comfy t-shirts, tanks and hoodies, his line also extends to include hats, bags and mugs.
When asked where his office was located, like a true Venice surfer, Oscar answered, "the beach".
